CCC-CAPE Youth Mental Health
CAPE was founded in August 2023 under the supervision of the Chinese Community Center of the Capital District of New York. CAPE is a youth-centered project that aims to reduce stigma around mental illnesses and promote awareness and knowledge of mental health among AAPI immigrant-origin and second-
generation youth. Our peer support services provide a safe space for young people to talk about their mental health and release their stress through art and music therapy. Youth also can receive support from trained professionals.
We are all together to strengthen the power of the Community to collaboratively Advocate, Peer-support and Educate (CAPE) on youth mental health.
